*Biography:*

Kim Kaskashian was born in Detroit Michigan in 1952. She is a talented
violist who has placed in several viola competition such as the Lionel
Tertis International Viola Comp. and the ARD International Music
Competition. She plays both contemporary and classical music and has been
recorded on several CDs. Kim now teaches at the New England Conservatory
with her huge knowledge of music and beautiful tone. She loves chamber music
having participated in the Marlboro Music Festival. Recently, Kim Kashashian
has performed solos with New York, Berlin, London, and Tokyo Orchestras.
