Bio: Jimbo Ross is a rock, jazz, and blues violist, as well as a singer, composer, arranger, and producer. He grew up playing guitar, and transferred that style to viola. Jimbo Ross has become a studio musician and has played for many different artists in many different styles. He is part of the West Coast club scene as well as involved in the Hollywood recording industry. Now Jimbo lives in California, and has produced two of his own CD’s. He continues to make the music he loves. He loves experimenting with different styles of music, and believes that “music from every culture has a deep meaning”. Also, he enjoys Chinese and Thai food, and Ben & Jerry’s Peanut Butter Cup ice cream.
Jimbo Ross is known for his signature blues style and passionate electric viola skills in all the diverse music he plays.
